Virat Kohli creates another Record On Twitter. India’s dashing batsman Virat Kohli is all set to rule the upcoming year too. The last year was already an astonishing one for the 26-year-old as he achieved some of the momentous feats in 2014. Now on the very second day of the year 2015 the batsman added another feather to his cap. The Delhi batsman has now become the highest followed Indian sportsperson on the micro-blogging site.
Virat Kohli created a record once again when he surpassed the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar’s record of having maximum followers on Twitter as an Indian player. Virat has a huge follower base consisting of more than 5 million followers, which justifies the legacy and admiration that he earned within such a short span of time.
Earlier it was the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who has 4.94 million followers was the most at that point of time. Outgoing Indian test captain M.S. Dhoni has already passed the baton of captaincy to Kohli in test matches. Even on social media he is a very prominent player. Virat has 20 million likes on Facebook also along with 5 million on twitter. It is apparent that the Virat era has just begun.
